It can have a powerful effect on your internal stability and your daily routine. It can also have an impact on your habits. 

1. Making Your Bed Encourages You to be Organized 

Whether a bed is made or unmade has a visual quality that is hard to ignore. An unmade bed can convey the feeling of disorder. Some mental health illnesses, such as depression, have been related to living in untidy surroundings. It may also be a sign that someone is having a difficult time coping or feels overburdened. 

On the other hand, psychologists contend that organization reduces stress, and disorganization reduces our capacity for concentration. Making your bed is a step toward organizing your room and your mind.
